Hurricane Irene and the October 29th snow storm in the Northeast were two events whose near simultaneous occurrence could not possibly have been predicted. These two events, combined with the November 11 wind storms in California, left over 6 million homes were without power, some for weeks.

Over the past few weeks we have managed to more than double our workforce, triple our production and dramatically accelerate delivery of critical raw materials. Our production is now keeping up with the incoming orders but it is still not good enough to get ahead of the demand curve. This month we will be able to increase our in-house production by an additional 25-35% and our lead times should begin to drop to a more acceptable level. Since our transfer switches are manufactured in our own facility in Racine, Wisconsin, we are not affected by production delays resulting from problems associated with international logistics.

As of today, our lead time is about twelve weeks for transfer switches, transfer panels and power inlet boxes. If you have an order placed with one of our distributors, retailers or internet dealers, you may calculate your approximate shipping date by adding twelve weeks to the date of your order.
